Gnomeo and Juliet (2011) is a CGI animated film based on William Shakespeare's play Romeo and Juliet. Gnomeo and Juliet's two main characters are voiced by James McAvoy and Emily Blunt. Several songs that includes in the film are performed by Elton John and Lady Gaga. Gnomeo and Juliet is directed by Kelly Asbury and distributed by Touchstone Pictures. The film is slated for a release on February 11, 2011.
Two garden gnomes, Gnomeo and Juliet, finds a happy ending love affair and try to avoid tragedy when they are caught up in a feud between their neighbors, the blue and red garden gnomes.
