The Eagle (2011) is adapted by Jeremy Brock from the classic novel The Eagle of the Ninth by Rosemary Sutcliff. The film is directed by Kevin Macdonald starring Channing Tatum, Jamie Bell, Donald Sutherland, Mark Strong and Tahar Rahim. The Eagle is set to be released in theaters on February 11, 2011 in US and March 25, 2011 in the UK. The film is distributed by Focus Features.
